This is a resource for patients with chronic lung conditions, as well as respiratory specialists and singing leaders.
The CD contains physical warm-ups, breathing exercises, vocal exercises and songs. The original CD was made with people with obstructive conditions in mind (i.e. COPD, asthma and bronchiecstasis).
People with a restrictive condition (e.g. Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis) or recovering from COVID-19 need to potentially allow longer for the inhale, to pause and self-monitor effort levels as needed.
The CD version is available direct from Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity. The CD comes with a booklet – a PDF version of the booklet is available to download.
Digital downloads are now available via all major digital distributors. 50% of profits go to rb&h Arts to maintain their Singing for Breathing project.
