The latest research paper, Singing Interventions in Pulmonary Rehabilitation: A Scoping Review, provides an analysis of studies into the use of singing in pulmonary rehabilitation.
Published by Kim, Yeo and Kim in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, the paper concludes that:
“singing has physical and psychosocial effects, leading to improvements in symptoms, but more research is necessary to ensure that the respiratory needs of people with pulmonary disease are adequately met.”
